REO-CDS: Emissions Chassis Dyno System

REO-CDS is part of the familiy of REO products. Targetted as an advance data acquisition and control system for 48" Roll based 2WD and 4WD Emissions Chassis Dynamometers, REO-CDS provides a flexible and powerful system.

REO-CDS offers a simple to use yet powerful solution to chassis dynamometer testing, A Windows XP/7 based system, REO-CDS uses modern technologies and hardware to provide a compact powerful environment for all your testing needs.

The software system is fully featured and offers:

• Automatic Single Pass Coastdown Fit to speed up testing
• Automatic determination of parasitic losses
• Automatic determination of roller mass
• Full electric inertia simulation and/or flywheels
• Unlimited Vehicle Type Storage
• Road Fan Control (Rolls Speed Matching or Manual Speed Control)
• Tyre Fan Control (where applicable)
• Automatic Flywheel Selection (where applicable)
• 20 Channel System Annuciator
• Digital PID Control with graphical tuning facility
• Advanced datalogging features with up to 256 channels
• Interfaces to third party instruments

REO-CDS supports 2WD and 4WD Chassis Dynamometers.

Typically, REO-CDS is applied to systems that are required to run tests in accordance with specifications as defined by European and Fedaral Standards.

Highly accurate Full Roadload Simulation is supported to provide realistic forces during testing of the vehicle. REO-CDS also offers the ability to run in Speed or Direct Force Control Modes.

The comprehensive test system provides accurate determination of rolls losses and mass.

For 2WD Drive Systems, REO-CDS provides Speed Tracking for the the non-driven roll set in 4WD assemblies.
